Few days of intern

5th october 2010

  Today woon hoon come and fetch us. Reach there kinda early, but still go up and pretend busy. Early in the morning asked by Steven Ng to clean stuff in the white house. That place was nice. Previously stayed by those korean people, and they leave a lot of thing after move. We assigned to clean those things up, and i guess the thing will become my company's staff's belonging if they want to.[Who knows they will take?]

  Then print something from the net. One manual is 500++ pages, really dono how to describe my feeling. Then have a dinner with jack Chang. He was so so ... Dono how to explain. Ms lim ask is there any cooking facilities in JB, some of us went there before say NO,omg...

  After that, asked by a lady to move thing. Really wanna kill the company already. Ask so many of us go move a 150++ kg thing [so many people also hard to move, can imagine the weight of it.] Somemore the guard show off like he is the manager or CEO, keep on insulting us. Wait and see, if you continue like this, threat us like a low cost labor, I will not let you all go that easy, trust me...

  Then Mr.Tan assigned us some marking and research job. It is about finding the magnetic door and card reader door from some layout. In the middle, i accidentally ask who smoking [is Mr.Tan smoking], i personally think i dint make him angry that much, but who knows,some people might so care even if a little bit [like me maybe]. Tomorrow going to sit bus go JB, which i hate.Why cant you all organized nicely? Want us to go but threat us like that. I cant be patient all the time. I am human not god...

6th october 2010
  Early in the morning sit cab go Wangsa Maju LRT station. Sit LRT to Masjid Jamek and change into Bukit Jalil. Meet with Ping to get his Wiggy. Sit Transtar bus to go Johor. Bus ticket write start at 0930, end up start at 1030. What a nice trip to sleep along the way. Finally reach Johor-Taman Jaya at 1430. Digistar worker, Nadmin come and fetch us.

  Reach cabin. Ah heng, was totally different from my imagination. All the people here were friendly and willing to help. First day we just introduce ourself and start doing some Sample board stff, about the wires sample. Of cause, before that, wewas brought to the so called hostel. Not very clean as what i imagine, and we haven have our lunch.

  After that follow Nadmin back home. Clean the house twice before waiting for Jacho. Finally they are back and it seems Ah Heng is not in a quite good mood. So we just write our daily report before waiting for him to ask us dinner. Dinner at 228 restaurant. Then he kindly brought us go to carefour for our daily stuff. Back to home continue cleaning the stuff before sleep.

  What is my expectation during the next 2.5 month?

7th october 2010

  Wake up at 0615, prepare my self for the first day in Johor, assume la. Ah heng finally woke up and we go to office together. Sweap the floor, clean the office and arrange all the document nicely. After that move the Color Dome Camera to the contenna. Next, we get a catalogue and modify the Sample board. Arrange according to the book, and print out the edited version of catalogue.

  Next was the photo taking session. First go to 1st and 2nd class of Hospital Permai. Taking picture to make sure Digistar won't sue by the main company due to late summision.
    Window to prevent stealing
    Ceiling to make a basement for alarm installation
    Nurse center to hold a unique room for safety purpose

  Next go back cabin, edit the photo name, typing content page and front page for catalogue. Heng was in a meeting, this has cause us fail lunch at 2pm. But meeting is more important, so we ask him to take his time, slowly make perfect.

  Finally, we went back cabin, and check the flowpan of Hospital Permai, assigned by Khairul. We have learnt how to see the number of door needed in a side and check the correctness of a plan.

8th october 2010

  Did nothing today but finish some simple job. Reach cabin as usual, throw rubbish plus sweap the floor once a while. Was assignned by Heng to do method statement. Since it is an engineering field, dun dare to simply do, so always refer to jacho. Before lunch, we finally finish it, but found out it was not wat Heng needed.

  Edit the method statement into single method statement. Then do a linking router to comm room job. It was not that easy as i thought since every way i found was more than 80 meters, which i think propably will affect the effectiveness of the network system for Hosp. Permai

9th october 2010

  Today early in the morning waiting Heng to wake up, cause want to ask him is it he want the water. Then went to Cabin around the same time again, continue sweaping floor and edit the linking router part. Around 915, i assume is Jack call Heng, ask us no need to do linking part anymore, what the world, should I say Nice or WTW?

  So Heng ask me to calculate based on the Autocad LT drawing. I finally found out how to calculate distance in the software, so this make things simple and i can double check as fast as I can. After that, I also assigned by Heng to calculate the distance for the fibre optics.
